The History of the Vintage Clothing

Have you ever wondered how vintage clothing became a trend? It all started in the 1950s. Department stores began turning old 1920s fur coats into frontier hats to sell to young boys, who were clamoring for the style due to a popular TV show. At the same time, in Greenwich Village, a young socialite named Sue Salzman and her friends popularized wearing old 1920s fur coats around town so effectively that it caught on as a trend among college students. Since then, many people have chosen to wear used clothing from past decades, and the vintage trend is still going strong today!
