The History of Post-it Notes

Introduced in 1980, the Post-It note is one of the most ubiquitous office products around. But did you know that its famous adhesive was originally developed by accident by a scientist at 3M? When another employee grew tired of his bookmarks constantly falling out of hymnals, the idea for the sticky note was born! Originally called the Press n’ Peel, the Post-It note was almost discontinued before it found success in a test market in Boise, Idaho.
