Before 1924 frozen food existed in climates that were cold enough to freeze food naturally. Also many inventors had creative techniques to freeze food but the modern method is credited to Clarence Birdseye. Interestingly enough it was due to luck and a delicious fish that we now can freeze food for months and still enjoy the taste.
